To address key issues of everyday clinical, financial, and operational challenges in immuno-oncology, ICLIO established three tumor subcommittees: Lung, Melanoma, and Emerging Tumors (covering immuno-oncology indications outside of lung cancer and melanoma). These subcommittees are comprised of ICLIO scholars representing different members of the multidisciplinary cancer care team (e.g., clinician experts, pharmacists, nurses, and administrators).
Subcommittee members were appointed and invited to serve because of their real-world expertise in immuno-oncology within their respective disciplines. Subcommittee members provide unique perspectives and expert insights on how to address the practical challenges associated with immuno-oncology. These subcommittees are helping to guide the development of ICLIO resources for everyday immuno-oncology practice and management/operations.
